Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is the preferred method for alleviating mild to moderate anxiety during dental procedures. It is administered via a small mask that is placed over your nose, providing an effective means to reduce anxiety, increase your pain tolerance, and even create a perception of time passing more swiftly than usual. As the gas takes effect, you will experience a sense of calmness while remaining awake and able to communicate with the dentist. Upon completing your appointment, you will return to breathing regular oxygen, and all the effects of nitrous oxide will quickly dissipate, allowing you to resume your regular activities without delay.
